Let Us Help
Domestic Violence - Learn More
Our organization is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources to victims of domestic violence, including access to safe housing, legal advocacy, and counseling services. We believe that everyone deserves to live free from abuse and are committed to empowering survivors to rebuild their lives.
Sexual Abuse or Rape - Learn More
Safe Passage helps survivors of sexual violence. Individuals can call our 24-hour crisis hotline 365 days a year. We provide immediate advocacy, safety planning, and crisis intervention for survivors. As part of our 24-hour response services, Safe Passage advocates are on call with Kootenai Health, supporting survivors throughout any medical exams, law enforcement interviews and, throughout the legal process.
Child Abuse - Children’s Advocacy Center - Learn More
The Safe Passage Children’s Advocacy Center (SPCAC) is a community-based, child-friendly, and trauma-informed program that coordinates a multidisciplinary response to child abuse allegations. We deliver a best practice model that brings together child protective services, law enforcement, our certified forensic interviewers, prosecutors, family advocates, and medical and mental health professionals to provide a coordinated, comprehensive response to victims and their non-offending caregivers.
Safe Shelter - Learn More
We provide 30-day emergency and 90- day extended shelter to survivors and their children in imminent danger. Food, necessities, case management, and support are available. In addition to emergency shelter for those in danger, we also provide help accessing longer-term housing, finding housing options, completing the voucher process, and emergency housing financial assistance.
Court Advocacy - Learn More
Safe Passage helps victims overcome the intimidation often experienced when entering the judicial process. Our trained advocates assist with protection orders, legal referrals and coordination between law enforcement and the prosecutor’s office. Cell phones to reach 911 emergency services are also made available to victims.
