Our free 24/7 safety planning and emergency shelter serve hundreds of families each year. Our counseling, child advocacy, and court and medical advocacy services guide survivors through their troubling times. And our teen outreach program reaches thousands of kids per year, giving them the education and resources to help keep them safe and prevent the cycle from repeating.

Ultimately, we’re working to make this a beautiful place again. For everyone. We gladly accept both monetary and material donations. Safe Passage is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Volunteer

Volunteers and interns play a vital role in our day-to-day operations and activities. Opportunities to help range from providing crisis counseling and court advocacy to serving on a committee or even as a board member.  Tell us all about your special talents!

Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Volunteer openings may be available for intake, hospital, shelter and court advocates. To volunteer in any of these programs, however, you must take our 30-hour Crisis Intervention Training (CIT). To check on openings, contact us at 208-664-9303. Or click the link below for a volunteer application to complete and return to our office.  After receiving your application, we will schedule an interview with you to ensure both parties are compatible.
